Crown Reduction

A crown reduction is a specialist pruning technique to reduce the overall height and spread of a tree while maintaining the overall structure of the crown. It is typically done when a tree has outgrown its space, or is close to power lines and buildings.

Crown Lifting

Crown lifting involves removing the lower branches of a tree to raise the canopy, increasing clearance from the ground and improving access and light to the surrounding area.

Crown Thinning

Crown thinning involves the careful removal of selected branches to improve air circulation within the canopy and allow more light to filter through.

Pollarding

Pollarding is a pruning technique where all the foliage are removed completely and the branches are heavily reduced to short stubs promoting denser growth. Pollarding is often used on street trees to maintain its size.

Tree Removal

LOLER Inspection

A LOLER inspection is a legal requirement to ensure the safe and thorough examination of lifting equipment. This involves a detailed check by a competent person to confirm the equipment is safe, fit for purpose, and free from defects.

Our qualified LOLER inspector will carry out a thorough examination to identify any defects or issues before they become a risk.

To comply with regulations, inspections must be carried out:

• Every 6 months for equipment used to lift people, or for all lifting accessories

• Every 12 months for other lifting equipment
