Job description:

We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our growing team as a Trainee Tree Surgery Groundsman. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and is looking to build a long-term career within the arboriculture industry.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tree surgeons and receive full training to NPTC standards, gaining valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of tree work and site operations.

Duties will include:

• Assisting tree surgeons on site

• Feeding branches and timber through wood chippers

• Keeping sites clean, safe and organised

• Assisting with rigging, lowering and general ground operations

• Hedge cutting and general grounds maintenance

• Learning to safely use chainsaws, chippers and other machinery

• Loading and unloading tools and equipment

We are looking for someone who:

• Is hardworking, punctual and reliable

• Enjoys outdoor, physical work in all weather conditions

• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Can work well as part of a team

• Holds a full clean UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities to progress within a growing company.

Salary: Starting from £26,500 per year.
